SANA’A — U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Matthew H. Tueller and Embassy Sana’a Consular staff opened special Saturday appointments for 120 tourist and business visa (B1/B2) applicants at the U.S. Embassy on October 18.
The U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section hosted this special “Super Saturday” event in order help Yemeni tourist and business visa applicants obtain appointments that have previously been difficult to schedule.
Though the U.S. Embassy routinely expedites visa appointments for students and exchange visitors, requests for U.S. tourist and business visa appointments continues to grow. Visa services are an important Embassy function, and the robust demand for tourist and business visas reflects the strong continuing relationship between Yemen and the United States.
