Steven H. Fagin presented his credentials as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen on June 1, 2022, in Aden. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, class of Minister Counselor, Ambassador Fagin was most recently Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad (2020-21).

A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Inger Tangborn currently serves as Deputy Chief of Mission to Yemen. Prior to this assignment, she was Deputy Chief of Mission with the U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania, following a tour with the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General.
